Today felt tough, really rolling terrain. Didn't help that after staying 3 miles off route, I managed to miss the turn back onto route and went half a mile in the wrong direction, up a steep hill of course.
Everyone seems to have ended up at the same campsite again, in a local park. 12 people camped out in the shelter of a local park. Met Jeff for the first time today. He's becoming a bit of a legend for his amazing luck. He had a tyre blow out, while waiting in a bike shop. He was stuck on the Blue Ridge Parkway with nothing but snacks when an Appalachian Trail hiker got a care package and was offloading a lot of it because it was too heavy to carry. He's carrying round an enormous sleeping bag from Walmart as he somehow managed to loose his, which is a bit odd!
Think I'll just be doing a shortish day, as i'm feeling pretty tired and my legs are really starting to feel it.
