Had a really slow start today, chatted way too long with the couples in the RVs who were cyclists and fed us coffee and cake.
Also bumped into another lady cyclist who offered us her house to stay in, but we wanted to get further along so unfortunately couldn't take her up on the offer.
We stayed at the Bike Inn at Mt Vernon. This place is great! Its a lady who runs cycle tours but also runs a hostel type accommodation on a donation basis.
We went out for dinner, the lady gave us a bit of smirk when Jim's burrito was brought out, it was huge. What was even funnier was her taking the empty plate back into the kitchen and overhearing her exclaiming to the chef "he ate the whole thing!"
