Really wanted to go past Glen's campsite and shake his tent until he woke up (before riding with our group he was getting up late and riding through the afternoon heat) but he was up and gone. Damn!
Made it up over Chief Joseph Pass, which was fairly easy

Followed by an awesome fast swoopy descent, which I barely touched the brakes for
At one of the corners we noticed an opportunity to add a new state, so we quickly jumped into Idaho:
Before instantly jumping back into Montana again:
Camped in a privately owned campsite. Apparently the supported ACA group had gone through about 1 week before us. Surprised that was all, they've only made 1 week since Kentucky and they're not carrying any kit and had fancy Road bikes! We did hear though that the 75 year old lady who had 2 knee replacements had been hit by a car just outside of Darby. She was OK but had to go to hospital. Absolutely gutted for her.
Spent the afternoon in a microbrewery with free popcorn and had an awesome pizza, excellent evening!
