Made it into Yellowstone National Park. It is definitely pretty but with no shoulder to ride on and quite a lot of RVs it was a little bit scary at times! Saw a few elk today but no bison. Staying at the National Park Services campsite which has hiker/biker sites so we didn't have to worry about reservations or getting turned away.
Jim had bad news during the night. His grandma had died so he was going to try to do a monster ride all the way through Yellowston. Luckily after some phone calls things calmed down and he's going to be able to finish the ride.

A few miles down the road from the campsite was the West Thumb sulphur pots. As we were so close we went off and investigated. They were pretty coolcool and surprisingly not too smelly.
