Got to the bike shop in Sedalia for when it opened at 10am. They took my bottom bracket apart and cleaned and regreased it and put it all back together. It took a while, but it has got rid of the really loud click. Unfortunately, there's still a noise on each pedal stroke so it's going to have to go back into a bike shop somewhere! Also need to get new brakes as even the bike shop couldn't get the replacement pads in. This was something I was considering doing before I flew out so not so bad.

Staying in a hotel tonight and tomorrow and having a rest day tomorrow to get laundry a routing and all kinds of boring things sorted!
