My legs hurt this morning! Wasn't sure I was going to make it to Illinois! But with lots of stops and the kiwis, Jeff and newbie Jim who stayed at the church in Sebree last night, I made it to the ferry and sailed out of Kentucky,
No 'welcome to Illinois' sign that I've seen.
We had every type of weather today, scorching hot, torrential downpour, headwind and then surcharge NG hot again. Jeff made me giggle for miles when he overtook me and in a totally deadpan, serious voice mail informed me "the wind is blowing the wrong way"
Staying in Cave in Rock for a rest day as I need to get to the post office to pick up replacement charging unit and tomorrow's Sunday so stuck here till Monday. Really hoping it works, otherwise it's the hub that's broken, which will be very annoying.
