Today was awesome and kinda sad and scary. We got to the official end point of the TransAm, but I figured I'd probably be on my own from there and didn't really have any plan for getting up the coast to Olympic National Park, where I plan to spend my remaining time.
As it turned out this wasn't a problem, Jim and his wife wanted to camp and go up to Olympic so I basically hitched a ride with them in their rented minivan. We camped in a fairly crappy Campground just across the bridge from Astoria in Washington state so we were ready to hit the highway up to Olympic the next morning
