So, we made it cycle touring in Iceland. It was tough, and we weren't exactly prepared for the weather, but we managed to keep everything relatively dry and save the holiday by keeping tabs on the weather and planning what we were doing accordingly.
It turns out that I had been far too ambitious with what we wanted to do and see in Iceland and we didn't manage everything, but it was a fantastic holiday. Due to the pretty appalling weather we had, we stuck more to the tourist route and sites than anticipated. I hope we can go back in the future and do the more remote areas as it really is a truly beautiful country!
